The advantage of the Pro Leader 1x19 lines (made by braiding 19 steel fibers) is that predators, especially pike and catfish, cannot cut them with their teeth! When using lures like jerkbaits that try to trick predators with movements in two directions, soft leaders can easily tangle the hooks. The rigidity of the line prevents this issue. Even during a long fight, we can be confident that we won't lose the fish from the hook.
The upper end of the line features a rolling swivel for connecting the main line, while the lower end has a Snap Lock clip that ensures a quick lure change while also achieving the correct operating position.
