The Walter Bait Brolly series is a square-shaped umbrella that effectively protects baits and lures from sunlight, preventing them from drying out. The umbrella measures 83cm on each side and has a larger coverage area than other similar products. Creating a shaded area above the lures and baits to protect them from sun, wind, and rain directly influences the outcome of a fishing session. An unexpected rain can bring bait to a level of moisture that renders it unusable or, in the best case, alters its mechanics through additional moisture to the point where it is no longer effective for the type of fishing practiced.

The ribs are made of electrostatically painted metal alloy, durable and lightweight, while the gray waterproof fabric prevents UV rays from penetrating the material. This way, the temperature under the umbrella is much lower compared to using a bait umbrella with light-colored fabric. The very sturdy central pole is equipped with a sharp tip to be driven into the ground. A secondary central pole can be mounted in an umbrella support if available to the angler. The umbrella's tilt angle can reach 90° thanks to the button-locking system mounted at the top (immediately below the ribs).
